This blog post is useful for those who wanted to display either the USA or any specific counties at the first position in the Country drop-down.
Our one of the USA client sell their product world wide but most of the customers are in USA and Canada so he just asks me to display Canada and USA at the first position in the Country dropdown on the checkout page, on the customer address page, and at all of the pages where the Country dropdown is there in the Magento 2 website, so I just show how they can do this from the admin and he shocked and tell wow it’s so easy and I don’t know about this cool feature of native Magento. So I think to write this blog post so others can take benefit of the Top Destinations Counties feature of Magento 2.
To display a specific country at the first position on the country dropdown go to Magento Admin > STORES > Configuration > GENERAL > General > Country Options
On this page, you can see the “Top Destinations” multi-select field, here select countries which you wanted to display at the first position in the Country dropdown at the Magento 2 front-end website.
